our ward had a party... an overnight camping trip at pineview reservoir. so we decided that it would be a fun adventure since we haven't been camping as a family yet. we had no idea what to expect from our kids that night. but we decided to brave it. it was a lot of fun- our kids had a blast and for the most part our kids did pretty good that night. we found out that we should have brought more blankets! it was pretty chilly. so yeah the kids did great until...5:15 when mary decided to give a wake up call! yes...all the tents were quite close together. and since mary doesn't have a binkie anymore who knew when she was going to stop! but she did. in the morning we found out that she did manage to wake everyone up. we then decided the reason we came is so we could make it a true camping trip....no sleeping!
