i have always thought will was an observant child but until recently i never noticed how much detail he takes in. for example...
one day we came home from a play group at the park and interestingly enough will had learned a word from another little boy that i didn't quite like...love when that happens...so i was asking him who taught him that word and he responded " the little boy in the green stripes with the big ears that go like this "(he proceeded to push his ears forward and out) and sure enough i knew exactly who it was!!
another occasion i was on my way to visit teach. the girl has a little boy about a year older than will. as we were driving will asks..."are we going to the the little boys' house with the big head?" and sure enough...we were. now, i can say this because i know my kids have big heads!!
and yet another occasion after we had gone to will's preschool orientation i obviously had looked at all the little kids, etc. and after the first couple of days of preschool will would talk about the little boy with the long nose...and yet again i knew exactly who he was talking about and the little boy comes from a family who has long noses.
so everytime will describes someone i have to laugh...so innocent and honest about what he sees. i need to ask him to describe me!
oh---and just today we were getting dressed for preschool and today they were learning about "P" and pink and polite, etc. so jess was teasing will that he should wear a pink shirt and i chimed in that he should wear mary's pink fluffy dress up to which he responded..."No, it's too fat for me!" what?! haha
chubbs ( mary we are trying to call her) has her fun sayings as well. she is talking like crazy and i still think she should be too little to talk. but as she got in the bath the other night i pleaded for her to sit because of course, being mary, she likes to stand...so finally she sits down and what does she say and she sits in the warmth? "OOOOOO so nice and cozy! i laughed so hard.
nelson just jabbers...he is almost 8 months and is still a toothless wonder!

but where are the pictures of your little darlins?! i loved hearing about those cute kids. i miss them! although i'm not entirely sure i'd like will's assessment of my looks...best that i'm 500 miles away maybe :)
How cute is that?! It's so nice to hear about your adorable munchkins. Atticus has two bottom teeth and he sure knows how to use them--I get anxious every time a little toddler comes up to him to say hello--I'm just sure he's going to bite someone's finger off one of these days!
Cute Joni! As much as I miss Willis...it's probably good that he isn't around at the moment to describe my largeness. I'm afraid of which feature would stand out to him!
I made that tomato basil soup tonight....VERY good. Even my girls ate it up (once i told them there were tomatoes, onions, carrots and celery in it, that is....ha ha ha)
